Richard Libertini, Actor, 1933 – 2016

Actor Richard Libertini passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at the age of 82 due to cancer. Mr. Libertini began his career as a member of the renowned Second City improvisational troupe before moving to roles on stage and screens large and small starting in the 1960’s. He may be best recognized as General Garcia, the manic dictator of 1979’s The In-Laws, and as Prakha Lasa, the swami in the 1984 Steve Martin-Lily Tomlin comedy All of Me.

Among his animation voiceover credits were roles on The Zeta Project, Static Shock, Duckman, Adventures from the Book of Virtues, The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, Life with Louie, Animaniacs, and DuckTales.
