It’s One Wild Ride in “The Big Field Trip”

Premiere of My Gym Partner’s a Monkey First Feature Movie on Sunday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. (ET, PT)

My Gym Partner’s a Monkey leaves the classroom jungle behind and takes to the open road in the premiere of its first ever one-hour Cartoon Network Studios original movie, “The Big Field Trip,” on Sunday, Jan 14. To get ready for the adventure, brand new episodes will air every Friday at 7 p.m. in January and a marathon featuring favorite episodes of Adam and Jake lead-up to the road trip on Sunday, Jan. 14, beginning at 9 a.m. (ET, PT). The wild ride takes off at 7 p.m. (ET, PT) with the premiere of “The Big Field Trip,” where Adam will have to put all he’s learned at Charles Darwin Middle School to use.

Adam joins the Charles Darwin Middle School band, so he can participate in the annual big field trip. As Adam’s friends tell him, the infamous trip is always an adventure and this year proves to be the most adventurous ever. When the bus crashes, the group finds themselves lost in the woods. Trapped in the wilderness, the students and faculty completely panic and are unable to cope in the wild since they’re zoo animals after all and just don’t have the skills. And when vicious creatures, like squirrels and butterflies, attack, it’s every animal for themselves. But it’s up to Adam Lyon to take what he’s learned at Charles Darwin Middle School and save the day.

To help celebrate the premiere of “The Big Field Trip,” Cartoon Network wrangles-up new episodes every Friday in January at 7 p.m. (ET, PT) during Cartoon Network Fridays. The new episodes are full of adventure and animal instinct when Jake gets tangled-up with crazy monkey acrobats, while Adam makes the mistake of petting one of the adorable petting zoo animals and Herman the Hermit takes up residence in Adam’s locker and doesn’t want to leave his new home.
