New Incredibles 2 Characters Now Revealed

by on January 22, 2018

Who are the new characters being introduced in Incredibles 2 this June? And which one of them is bound to be evil?

Pixar released sketches for four new Incredibles 2 characters to the media this morning, alongside photos of the actors playing them. Their descriptions shed some light on the plot of the film, which until now has been a complete mystery.

WINSTON DEAVOR (voice of Bob Odenkirk) leads a world-class telecommunications company alongside his genius sister, Evelyn. Ultra-wealthy, savvy and suave, Winston goes big in everything he does—including his infatuation with Supers. He has been a supporter of Supers returning—all he needs is a hero (or three) to help him change public perception and bring them back into the sunlight.

EVELYN DEAVOR (voice of Catherine Keener), the brilliant brainchild behind her brother Winston’s telecommunications company, knows her way around tech. She loves tinkering with tech, and has never met a problem she can’t solve.

VOYD (voice of Sophia Bush) is a young, overeager “wannabe” Super and a mega-fan of Elastigirl. Her superpower is the ability to divert and manipulate objects around her by creating voids that allow the objects to appear and disappear, and shift in space.

The Supers find an advocate in a dignified foreign AMBASSADOR (voice of Isabella Rossellini) who is committed to the support and legalization of Superheroes.

In the grand Pixar tradition, one of these characters will likely turn out to be villainous. You might think “gotta be Winston, just look at him,” but it’s not that simple. You can actually figure out which character is the real bad guy by saying each of their names out loud. Which pronunciation stands out to you?

Incredibles 2 soars into theaters June 15.

By the Power of Grayskull!  I hope it isn't that obvious.

Well I just hope this doesn't  mean Bird's stupid belief in objectivism comes into fruition.

I never got his obsession there. The Incredibles was an entertaining movie but I always thought it's morality was entirely fudged up. Brad Bird is a weirdo. 😛

I think he has built up resentment for the years his work became unrecognized, he openly admitted he joined Pixar for there creative freedom even then judging how he talks about Lasseter on The Incredibles DVD he seems to have a bit of resentment towards the guy.

Or he's just right wing and it's incredibly hard to justify that kind of political stance in this day and age.
