Is Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition finally out? What’s different between it and the Wii U version?
The Switch ports of Wii U games continue, and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is the second game this month to have that label.
Ironically the original version was actually a big hit on the Wii U, selling over a million units, and it helped cement the team at Omega Force as a team that could be trusted, thus, they made Fire Emblem Warriors.
As for what’s different in the Switch version of the game, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition brings together all the DLC characters and add-ons that were added to both the original game and the Legends “upgrade”. This means characters like Linkel, Tetra, King of Red Lions, Skull Kid and more are able to be played. Plus, like in Fire Emblem Warriors, you can now switch between characters in the battlefield, and no longer has to just use one character the whole battle.
