Hertz Adds Nick-Themed Media Players to Rental Lineup

by on December 5, 2007

Parents will be able to get media players pre-loaded with Nickelodeon shows when they rent cars from Hertz under a deal announced today by the two companies.

Nick on the Go will be a fully portable, pre-loaded, touch-screen media player that comes with forty hours of programming from Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., including SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Danny Phantom, The Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron, Rugrats, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Dora the Explorer and Blue’s Clues. The players are designed for kids’ hands and can be used while in the car or at other locations.

The units will be initially available on Saturday, December 15, at twenty-one North American locations and will be rolled out in twenty-five additional Hertz markets in early 2008. Nickelodeon also plans to add new features next year, including Nick-themed video games and internet access to Nickelodeon websites.
