The second season of Wonder Woman is here on DVD!

I've never watched this show, maybe i did as a kid but dont' remember. But i am interested, but i'm not sure if i'd enjoy it. Is it a good good show, or is it a good "campy" show or just a "campy" show only nostalgic people will like.

ala adam west.

And did it only have two seasons?

I'd say Wonder Woman was pretty campy in the 1st Season, which took place during WWII.

Linda Carter states in the commentary for the pilot that they used some of the same writers from the Adam West Batman.

The show lost some of the camp, and became little more serious when they moved Wonder Woman into the Present Day (Late 1970's) for Seasons 2 and 3.

The show lasted 3 season all together, with the 3rd Season due out this June.

Sure many of the special effects and stunts are laughable by today's standards, but Linda Carter is great as Wonder Woman, and Lyle Waggoner is the forefather to characters like Giles on BTVS, as the character that gets knocked out in nearly every episode.

Personally, I'd rate it as a good campy show.

Unlike West's Batman, Wonder Woman is ostensibly a serious action show. However, it is so unintentionally cheesy that you end up laughing anyway.

For those who have seen the episodes or own this set, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the season premiere episode, as well as the Bermuda Triangle episode...since both probably feature continuity from the first season. I've never seen them, so please...gimmee plot details! I can't find any anywhere...Thanks!

It's nice to finally have another 3D DK game alongside Donkey Kong 64 with Donkey Kong Bananza having its official release today. If King K. Rool manages to make an appearance in the game, then I'll be an even happier campier but I suppose I'll find out once I obtain a copy of the game.
