Spent Thanksgiving with a James Bond mini-marathon on DVD: Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and The Spy Who Loved Me before Thaksgiving dinner, followed by Moonraker and The Living Daylights afterward. Was also going to watch On Her Majesty's Secret Service, but I decided to save that one for Christmas given the film's seasonal setting.

I spent Thanksgiving with a friend and her parents. They were nice enough not to watch Elf after dinner since I can't stand that movie, so we watched Hairspray. I thought it was pretty silly--though Zac Efron was cute [strike]don't judge me.[/strike] I adored Queen Latifah, though. That woman is awesome.

Today, I finally get to do something I failed to start last night (Twitter arguing): watch every single episode of Gundam Wing before delving into follow-up movie Endless Waltz on Christmas. Both are my Christmas/holiday traditions, with the whole Endless-Waltz-on-Christmas being done before I finished collecting the whole series in 2005/2006.

I've been watching a lot of movies lately for some reason. Last night I watched the original Tron and this afternoon I watched 17 Again. *coughZacEfronisadorabledon'tjudgemecough*

Finally watched Psycho II in its entirety last night. You'd think a sequel 23 years(!) after the fact to one of the most iconic films in history would have a high probability of being nothing but a disappointment. But it's actually a very well-crafted suspense-mystery and a solid follow-up to the original. Loved it.

A couple friends and I watched How to Train Your Dragon last night. I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed that movie!

Tonight I watched Aladdin for the first time in years. It used to be my favorite Disney film as a kid to the point I wore out my VHS from watching it so often. I was amazed at how many references had flown over my head as a kid. So great <3

I watched Beauty and the Beast the other day for the first time since I was a kid. I never much liked it back then, but I appreciate it much more as an adult. Crazy how that works :p

And now I've decided to watch Supernatural so am starting on season 1. I'm three episodes in and feel an addiction coming on >.>

Oh, it is addicting. The series starts off episodic, but it works for that type of show. At least, it did for me. I love the show to death, but I marathoned it all within a month so I'm not used to the weekly pace of it.

Now that I think about it, most of the shows I watch today I marathon to catch up and I am not used to the weekly pace. House, Heroes, Lost, The Office, etc.

Yeah, I just started season 2... completely addicted. I adore the chemistry between Sam and Dean; they are such wonderful brothers.

I watched this last night because I needed something to distract from the research paper that was due in the morning.

I think it is one of the more reference heavy of the nineties Disney films. Williams obviously contributed to that, and I believe it influenced other films like Mulan.
