Am I the only one who wonders how it is that Bob hasn't created their own Firing Squad to rid them of Gigan?

Unfortunately, Lemming went off to Mexico for a week to meet with Horned Owl. You'll have to make do without Prairie Dog in the meantime.

Lies, we all know that Roger Smith is at home...

Yes I summoned the Souls of The Banned to assist me in my bidding! Ofcourse this is all within legal rules of the board, so it's baisicly thru IM...and a few members of GLM(who are to remain silent or be confusing or denying)

Wrenchen and Waggytoon are there too....and the sole purose of this think tank is to make sure that the game will have no true clear winner....and it will be debated throughout the ages

    Contesting the Question

    178. Speed of a Rhino - Where did you get your up to 30?

    Zoobooks are pretty venerable.

    http://www.zoobooks.com/newFrontPage/animals/animalFacts/sniglet_r.html

    Also

    155. Reptile Households - According to the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association survey for 1999-2000, its 3.9 million, not 4. Was this wrong? or did you count it as close enough?

    153. New Jersey is the correct answer.
    http://www.nps.gov/revwar/about_the_revolution/voting_rights.html

    138. Bones in the Human Foot
" A normal human foot is composed of 28 bones including the two sesamoid bones"

    So maybe we're both wrong?

    132. 1896 is when the Yukon gold rush began but you said YUKON and not KLONDIKE. Thus my 1881 has some basis as gold in the whole province.

    http://www.explorenorth.com/library/yafeatures/bl-stampedes.htm

Also references are listed at the bottom of the page.

Also according to the Yukon government page:
"after the first reported discovery at Fortymile in 1850."

    92. While I noted that it was invented in the 30s, the name "Scrabble" wasn't coined until 1941. Before that it was "Lexiko." So is it Scrabble until it's called "Scrabble?"

    http://www.scrabble-assoc.com/info/history.html

    83. Tallest structure. I said the KVLY-TV (the NBC affiliate in my area actually) is 628.8m (2,063ft) tall. The CN tower is 553m (1815ft) tall.

    http://www.casperstartribune.net/articles/2005/03/12/news/wyoming/eff43d9ec654f64887256fbf006ce6fc.txt

    82. Taipei 101 is the world's tallest building at 1671 ft.
    Petronas tower 1 is 1483ft.
    Petronas tower 2 is 1483ft.
The switch was made in late 2003 if I understand correctly. Technically the spires of the Sears tower are higher but spires aren't counted.

    2nd Contestation Post

    72. Donald and Scrooge

The picture I linked to appeared in Walt Disney's Comics (and Stories) #600.
    http://duckman.pettho.com/tree/v_american.html
    http://ksacomics.com/wdd/600.htm

And thus NAMED the relatives. There you have it.

    69. Marco Polo and China.

Marco Polo was born in 1254. He did not go to china until he was 17. His father and Uncle went in 1260, but they did not take the 6-year old with them. They returned after a few years and then took him.

    59. In what country is Esperanto Spoken?

While it is a made up langauge and is actually not NATIVE to any country. It is SPOKEN in lots of countries around the world.

    http://www.esperanto.net/veb/faq-5.html

    54. Metric inventors

I actually listed the people on the committee who developed the metric system. This is actually a more accurate description than just the French Academy of Sciences as not every person there worked on it.

    45. Real-life inspiration for Sherlock Holmes

I answered no, but explained that the man it was based on, Joeseph Bell himself denied that it was based on him and the consensus is that the only similarity between Bell and Holmes is that they both reason logically. I suppose this could go either way but I want to make the point here.

    42. Are Monumental Studios and Monumental Pictures that different?

    41. Where did the Honeymooner's live - I gave the borough and you didn't ask for the address. When you asked "Where do you live" do you say your address or your hometown?

    37. Gallons in an oil barrel.
    http://www.unc.edu/~rowlett/units/dictB.html
I guess we're both wrong as this is the official measure.

    15. The Who before they were The Who
