I wonder why they decided against putting the title on it. I like the minimalist approach but I don't think I'd recognize it as Spider-Man without knowing what it was beforehand.

It's being reported that Sony is in talks with Mahershala Ali to play the Prowler and Brian Tyree Henry to play Miles' dad.

Both are good picks. Funny enough that makes another cast member of "Atlanta" to be involved in a comic book movie

Ali is perfect for Prowler. Great voice too.

Gary Sturgis has always been the voice of Ultimate Prowler in my head, but Ali's a perfect choice for the role (especially coming off of Moonlight) :D.

Brian Tyree Henry should be interesting as Jefferson. I wonder who they'll cast as Rio :)?

That style is just...if you would have told a movie would end the cartoon Spidey dry spell,
    I'd be pretty hesitant. :D

I'll still need to know more before I'm sold...but the animation in that teaser was really, really nice. It looks way different in style than most of the CGI films we get in cinemas.

Yeah the animation is pretty cool. Probably the most unique look animated property in a long time.

One good thing about Sony Pictures Animation is that they experiment and don't just use the standard Pixar-esque style. Glad to see they're experimenting even further. Now hopefully the writing is solid.

That was definitely a pretty cool trailer. Can't wait to see more what this movie has to offer :D.

The animation is definitely a lot different from what I was expecting, though that's not a bad thing. It definitely looks like a pretty stylish Spider-Man movie .

Aaron Davis' Prowler looks weird with Hobie Brown's cape .

Looks like they're keeping the death of Peter Parker as part of Miles' origin :ack:.

I'm not crazy about Miles' chest emblem. The red circle seems kind of unnecessary, but I guess it explains the movie logo .

Was that an AU version of Peter at the end there, talking with Miles in the subway station ?

I wonder if that "so how many of us are there" line is a reference to other alternate Spider-People like Miles? Is that what the "Into the Spider-Verse" title is referring too o_O.

That golden Spider at the end reminded me of those collectables from the Beenox games :p.

Ok, so I don't think SPA will do what Ultimate Spider-Man (TV) did as this might simply just be a universe where other Spider characters have already run amok. He's in a homemade suit at the end of that teaser talking to a soon to be dead Peter Parker.

Oh my god, a Marvel animated production where the animation is good and it has an awesome artsstyle. Between this and Batman Ninja 2018 looks like a good year for animated superhero movies

After finding out what the title of this film is and after watching the trailer, the first thing that came to my mind was that this was a big budget retelling of the 2 Spider-Verse arcs from the last 2 seasons of USM, except on the big screen and done in CGI. In any case, this looks really nice.

I heard Alex Hirsh is involved.

The trailer also seems to imply we'll see other Spider-Men too.

    I'm hoping for Spider-Man 2099/Miguel O'Hara myself.

I wish the currently running Spider-Man cartoon had animation half as good and stylish as this movie .
