    If it weren't for him, then these films wouldn't have been horror classics.

    It really brings to mind that I still need to watch the original TCM. I always hear how effective it is . It feels off that I managed to stumble on to Lifeforce before it but at least I also have Poltergeist under my belt. I'm not a huge horror fan but I love seeing those 70s and 80s movies, and what the directors were able to accomplish with storytelling and technique. I think I'll check TCM out soon in Tobe's honor, and get around to rewatching some Romero as well. RIP.

    Sorry i'm late for the party but RIP Tobe Hooper for scaring us with Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist.
