Inspired by the breakout characters from the feature film Osmosis Jones, Ozzy & Drix follows the adventures of white blood cell cop Ozzy (as in Jones) and Drix, an over-the-counter cold pill, as they strive to maintain order, vim and vigor in the body of 13-year-old Hector Cruz.

Viewed as outsiders by Hector's longtime residents, Ozzy and Drix face an uphill battle convincing Mayor Paul Spryman and Police Chief Gluteus, the Mayor's right-hand man, that they only want to help out and make sure that Hector stays healthy.

After a rocky start, Ozzy and Drix are befriended by Ellen Patella, a liberal red blood cell who happens to be an attorney specializing in cells' rights, and Maria Amino, an amino acid and officer with the Hector Police Department. With their new comrades, Ozzy and Drix set about helping Hector face everything from allergies to acne, strep throat to the pitfalls of puberty, all while trying to avoid Spryman and Gluteus, who are highly suspicious of Ozzy and Drix’s motives.

From cruising around in cilia-powered "Cel Camino" to monitoring Hector's life through their "private eye" office in Hector's retina, Ozzy and Drix are a one-of-a-kind pair of problem solvers ready to fight for what’s right — at least on a cellular level — in the world!

Hector is just like any other normal 13-year-old. He's discovering girls, he's extremely curious, and he loves the L.A. Lakers. Like every other kid his age, he's constantly walking the tightrope between cool and outcast. It's not that Hector's problems are any different or greater than any other teenage boy's, it's just that when these problems are approached from the cellular level, they take on a magnificent scope.

JUSTIN COWDEN (The voice of Hector Cruz)

Multi-talented Justin Cowden has performed extensively on stage, as well as in television and film. His theater credits include leading roles in productions of Brighton Beach Memoirs, Camelot and The Music Man. On television, Cowden has appeared in the Disney telefilm, The Jersey and had a recurring role on MTV's Undressed.

If you ask him, Ozzy will tell you he’s the baddest white blood cell in the body. Even though he's microscopic in size, he's tough enough to inoculate any virus or sorry piece of cytoplasm that threatens the health of the most important thing in his life: Hector. Ozzy looks like any other cell — he has a blue nucleus and a white pliable membrane that allows him to squish through tight spaces or disguise himself when needed.

PHIL LaMARR (The voice of Ozzy)

In addition to his work on Ozzy & Drix, LaMarr also provides the voice of the title character in the Kids' WB! series Static Shock and the voice of the Green Lantern in Justice League for Cartoon Network. His television credits include Mad About You, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, L.A. Law and Wings.

Drix, an over-the-counter cold tablet, is large compared to Ozzy and the other cells — about twice the size. He keeps a cornucopia of different medicines in his chest (a medicine chest). Drix is a bit sheltered when it comes to everyday living things like dancing, music or clothes. As each day passes, Ozzy clues him in on what is cool and what is not. As a rule of thumb, if Drix is into it, it's not cool.

JEFF BENNETT (The voice of Drix)

Bennett has been doing voice work since the early 90s and has amassed an impressive resume, including roles in Samurai Jack, Book of Pooh, The Powerpuff Girls and James and the Giant Peach.

Mayor Spryman, a teenager himself, is the elected leader of the City of Hector. Unfortunately, he relies on his two brain cell advisors who make every decision based on how it will affect re-election and not what is best for Hector. Spryman likes Hector just the way he is and doesn’t see much of a reason to change.

ALANNA UBACH (The voice of Mayor Spryman)

Alanna Ubach has appeared in more than 20 films, including Legally Blonde, Clockwatchers, The Brady Bunch, Sister Act 2 and Renaissance Man. On television, she has appeared in such series as The West Wing, ER, Providence, SportsNight, Chicago Hope and Party of Five.

Ellen is a lawyer with the firm of Tarsus, Sternum and Patella. She's an extremely liberal red blood cell. In fact, her specialty is cells' rights. Since Hector is a growing boy with thousands of new cells being created every day, they need someone like Ellen to make sure all the new arrivals acclimate quickly and the older generation of cells doesn’t take advantage of the newcomers.

VIVICA A. FOX (The voice of Ellen Patella)

Vivica A. Fox has enjoyed great success in both movies and television. Her feature film credits include Juwanna Mann, Two Can Play That Game, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, Set It Off, Booty Call, Soul Food, Batman and Robin and Independence Day. On television, Fox starred in the ABC comedy Arsenio, the Fox comedy, Getting Personal and the Disney telefilm, A Saintly Switch.

Maria Amino (her friends call her Maria A) is a hyperactive officer of the HPD. Maria is an amino acid, so she's all buffed out like a female wrestler. She's also sweet on Drix and is more than willing to help him out by slipping him perp files or giving him info that's reserved for HPD officers only.

TASIA VALENZA (The voice of Maria Amino)

Tasia Valenza has appeared in films such as Skeletons, Crackers, and Long Lost Love. On television, she has appeared in the series Star Trek: The Next Generation, Hunter, 21 Jump Street and the daytime drama, All My Children.

Police Chief Gluteus, the Mayor's personal watchdog, is a long time muscle cell of Hector. (He came over on the umbilical cord during the great succession and was a war hero in the battle of the measles.) Now, he's a senior member of the HPD. Just like the Mayor, he liked the way things were when Hector was a little kid, not the way things are shaping up to be now that Hector has so much free will and makes his own decisions.

JIM CUMMINGS (The voice of Police Chief Gluteus)

Jim Cummings has been providing voices to animated works for almost two decades and has hundreds of credits to his name. His most recent credits include Tarzan and Jane, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Shrek and The Mummy: The Animated Series.

Now Ozzy and Drix, with the help of the Mole, must take on the bacterial army.
