I completely disagree. The animation for the most part was as flat as any motion comic (Hulk and the Agents of SMASH had better animation IMO). Plus the voice actors they got for Wolverine and Captain America stood out as the worst and most misplaced voices I've heard from any animated incarnation of them.

Wow, it must have looked really bad then for a motion comic .

Agents of SMASH was easier to look at for me, because I'll take anything over the hideously limited motion-comic/Archer/Metalocalypse style of animation. (Well, maybe except Rick & Morty's animation style, which visually is worse than any of those IMO.)

I'm just happy to know we're past the animation period of Agents of SMASH and that Black Panther series .

spyke probably meant that BP had good animation by motion comic standards (which, admittedly isn't a high compliment) rather than it having good animation period. But, if nothing else, it had a really good theme song and I doubt that the upcoming show will top that (most likely because it probably will not have a theme song in the first place).

Oh I don't know about that. Kevin Michael Richardson wasn't spot-on as Wolverine or anything, but he sure was less miscast than Milo Ventimiglia

Black Panther was presented as an animated series not a motion comic.. I don't think we have to be kind to it. It wasn't very good, and even Marvel was disappointed with it. It didn't finally make it on the air until like years after it was revealed. it came and went with little fanfare.

I presume the Avengers will at least play a larger role in the next season than in the Black Panther cartoon. I also kind of doubt they would bring in Storm or even Wolverine.

HULK AND THE AGENTS OF SMASH wasn't a motion comic, which is why the animation and art was better then the art and animation in the BP motion comic. Again, I'm comparing the BP motion comic to other motion comics, NOT to actual fully animated TV series. And as a motion comic, it was the best (which isn't saying much, LOL).

It was falsely advertised as a fully animated series, but Marvel later (when it was released on DVD) acknowledged and properly marketed it as a motion comic. And not to brag, I was (as far as I know) the first person to call the BP "cartoon" a motion comic after the first full episode leaked online and I also said that Marvel falsely marketed the series as a traditional fully animated series.

I'm curious to see how they'll handle Weirdworld...

I believe they teased an episode with Hawkeye and cowboys, so I'm guessing "Westland" is it. I wonder who Clint's partner for this episode will be :)?

I couldn't have been the only one who read those both as Westworld.

Vision and his ten gallon hat.

Probably Westland so they don't get sued.

Zap2It has the titles for the last episodes of the season. No accurate descriptions available yet - they all have the same generic synopsis for the season. And it looks like once again those shorts released before the season premiered did count as an episode since they only list 25 episodes in total.

    Weirdworld
    SEASON 4, EPISODE 21
    AIRING MAR 04, 2018

    Westland
    SEASON 4, EPISODE 22
    AIRING MAR 04, 2018

    The Citadel
    SEASON 4, EPISODE 23
    AIRING MAR 11, 2018

    The Wastelands
    SEASON 4, EPISODE 24
    AIRING MAR 11, 2018

    All Things Must End
    SEASON 4, EPISODE 25
    AIRING MAR 11, 2018

I'm guessing "Citadel" will be the episode where The Avengers confront the Beyonder :ack:.

I'm curious if "Wastelands" is both going to feature the Marvel Zombies and if Hulk ended up landing there...

"All Things Must End" is kind of self-explanatory.

DAMN IT!!! They said we would see places like "Spider-Island 2099" and others, but by the look if it, it seems we have been tricked!!!! I wanted to see more of Battleworld, but it seems we are not going to explore all the territories!!

    Well, let's see:

+ Weirworld will surely be the land controlled by Morgan Le Fay, as she appeared in the Secret Wars' promo, only with her look from the comics as "Weirdworld's queen" instead of her look from "Ultimate Spider-Man".

+ Westland must be the zone where we saw a clip of Loki using his shield against something. In the background, I could see something that looked like a western town.

+ The Citadel, I have no idea. It could be the place where we saw Iron Man fighting the Beyonder, but that's something more fitting for the last episode.

+ The Wasteland must be the place where Hulk and Banner are. This should be a rescue mission.

+ Kind of predictable the title for the last episode. I guess this is the last battle against Beyonder, restoring the worlds and stuff. And I guess Avengers Tower could be taken from Battleworld and restored to Earth.

I still wonder in which episode we could see the scene with Groot.

A UK-exclusive Avengers: Secret Wars tie-in comic featured Luke Cage in his Earth's Mightiest Heroes design.

(Plus, apparently Cap lies about never having met him before?)

Also, "Mama Lucas"? That's not your mother's name Luke.

EDIT: The comic was written by old school Marvel writer Ralph Macchio. Honestly, I don't think he ever watched USM or Avengers Assemble.

I guess she might be the Thor guarding the Citadel.
Granted, rebooting characters to match other versions is consistent with the Marvel Animated Universe :p.

    I really miss Cap's old, non-armored, costume :(.
