Does anybody know the track's name of this promo? (at 2:53)

Nice find, NewBogus. Here is the link to the Fired Earth Music library (now part of West One Music Group), if anyone is curious: http://www.westonemusic.com/label/04577b53abe8fd71/fired-earth-music
Coincidentally, I've made another find - The title of music used in the "Scoubidou fait son cinema" intro/outro on CN France during ca. 2002/03-2006 is "Downtown Motown" from DeWolfe Music Library:

Since you're so actively invested in this any chance you could try finding out the sources/artists for some 90s music?

There is a way to find out these sources easier (though it's only viable if you have a YouTube channel).

This doesn't always work but what happens is, I usually download a video from whatever channel, upload it on my channel but set it in private and wait for the Content ID system to catch the source/artist. If I see a "This contains copyrighted content" notice and it sparks up some interesting results (that are not just Turner claiming show clips), I got a name for it.

I've had the best of luck with Extreme Music's catalog since it seems like everything they've ever made is registered in the Content ID system.

Unfortunately all of the promos and continuities I do have on my alt channel have only been met with audiovisual content claims from Turner and other variants that never tell you anything useful. And often times, nothing at all.

I'm gonna contribute what I did find however.

"Sunday Skool" by James Donald Davis, Martin Jackson, Bruce Fingers and Billy Ray Fingers

[Promo for the launch of French Toonami]
"House of the Holy" by Two Steps From Hell

[a random Ben 10: Omniverse promo from CN Asia(?)]
"Largo Al Factotum" by Gioacchino Rossini

And this is all I could find, sadly. Most of the videos I had were audiovisual and did not list songs but moving footage instead, but maybe you'll have better luck if you download some promos off the Internet and put them on your channel. Maybe you'll find something.

The recent videos CN's YouTube channel put out have given me exactly the results I wanted and maybe it can work out for you guys too.

Also as a bonus, here's some other songs I found from some other videos I had.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEB7WXSzUUQ
[Menu music for the Nightmare in Elmore game]
"Scrumpy Jack", "Shine a Light" and "Hay Picking" by Dan Gautreau

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fkHtdpfxQk~
[Song featured in a drawing challenge at CN's panel in SXSW 2016]
"I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by The Nashville Superpickers

Again, the method I mentioned is the best one I know of and most likely will work (though not always) for identifying songs from promos. Maybe there's others I'm not aware of.

    I hope this helps.

There used to be a promo for the December 2005 marathon on CN Europe that was styled after the music video to The White Stripes' Hardest Button to Button, they even used it as a soundtrack!

Little bit OFF: in the full-lenght trailer of Teen Titans Go! to the Movies we can hear Tiësto ft. Icona Pop – Let's Go at the very end

    And some obvious founds:
Dexter's Laboratory - Dee Dee bumper (CEE): Salt-N-Pepa - Push It (video, from 3:18)
    Foster’s Home - Coco bumper (CEE): 5 6 7 8's - woo hoo (video, from 2:47)
Duck Dodgers - very first trailer (CEE): Star Wars theme (video, from 7:16)
Generic bumper ~2010 (CEE): War - Why Can't We Be Friends (video, from 29:03)

Also, Random uploaded some old CN Hungary records in which you can see promos/bumpers that are unlisted in this topic. If you know the soundtrack of these clips, post them please.

They used Smash Mouth's cover, instead of the original song by War.

CN Africa aired one of the Why Can't We Be Friends fillers though with library music instead. They used Toy Story's You Have a Friend in Me for some friendship event in September 2011.

And CN CEE aired the couch "Why Can't We Be Friends" filler in 2012, for the channel's anniversary, but the music was changed and it had the CN 20th Anniversary endboard from USA.

To bad there's no onlinee rip of this on the net, thought.
