Take a close look at the hologram that Bruce is observing in the trailer; it might not be Superman, but Supergirl. So the character that Alfred greets at the end might be a Kryptonian, but not the one we would otherwise expect.

The only thing I didn't like about the trailer is the ridiculously ugly Flash costume. How do you take the original sleek Silver Age design, one that hasn't been improved on much since the 50s and do this?

Anyways, it might be messed up but the world without Superman looks a whole lot cooler. I love Superman, just not the building crushing martyr that was pushed so far.

Held off watching the new trailer because I knew nothing would interest and it would just get me angry at what the universe has already done. And hey I was correct.

That why I hate the ending to Batman v Superman Snyder could have done a better job of setting the Justice League without killing Superman.

7/23: Recording and highlights of Justice League panel

7/24: It's been reported they're spending $25 millon on the reshoots. At SDCC, Fisher commented they're brief and didn't agree with "extensive". Some of the cast had to shoot up to 4 weeks. Momoa was flown from Australia, Gadot just finished 2 weeks, and Affleck is scheduled to do some this week.

Okay, so I'm curious on everyone's thoughts on this. My excitement seems to have spiked a little. I still have this foreboding feeling of "Avengers: Age of Ultron"

I feel like any news about these reshoots is going to make this movie's production seem more complicated then it should be, even if that isn't accurate .
I've seen some people theorizing this, but I have to wonder on exactly what kind of context she would pop up in a hologram for and if that means they've stealth-casted Supergirl without anyone knowing o_O.

My feeling is anything will be better than BvS and SS and they know success thanks to WW. But the 'reshoots article' seems to be another Internet tool to throw shade on a movie.

I interpreted that hologram scene as Bruce and Alfred designing a new suit for Superman for the eventuality he revives.

EDIT: A short clip released through Snapchat of Bruce inviting the League to the Batcave and Aquaman has a moment with Alfred.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be changed since we now it's not in two parts.

Because it's been pushed back effectively? Okay, I'll change the title.

Well at this point Avengers 3 and 4 are probably more connected, in fact, I'm really surprised we got no word on a sequel at Comic Con.

WB is reactionary. So why would they jump on something they had no real reason to? The JL film still needs to be tested. Besides that, if they really are rebooting the universe, now's a bad time to announce a sequel.

I don't mind that with the lack of aftercredit scenes.

Cyborg seems pretty serious in the trailer, which isn't a bad thing since I think Aquaman and the Flash will deliver plenty of laughs. Hopefully he lightens up a little with the reshoots to the point where a possible "Booyah!" wouldn't feel out of place.

Perhaps, but Cyborg starting off in a dark place isn't that far off, imo. Even the Teen Titans animated series revealed its Cyborg was until he met the others.

Hopefully these work out better then the Suicide Squad reshoots .
I think if we get a "Booyah," it'll probably be a low-key, subdued, one like the "Outrageous" in the Thrones of Atlantis animated movie :).
