JimJam. The brand is currently only operational in weaker European economies and in Angola and Mozambique. Here in Portugal it's only on MEO and Vodafone. The feed is foreign, has a PT audio track yet has super low ratings.

Weaker economies? It's available in the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and (if it counts) Belgium.

It's no wonder that it's not available in the UK and Ireland.

2 Days Ago, beIN SPORTS MENA stops broadcasting its channels that were broadcasted illegally through TSTV in Nigeria. It says in the message, You're viewing beIN SPORTS content illegally via TSTV in Nigeria.

beIN SPORTS isn't broadcasted legally in Sub-Saharan Africa, especially Nigeria, unless beIN MEDIA GROUP buy and acquire a provider like Startimes, DSTV, or Kwese or unless they launch their sports channels through DSTV, Kwese or Startimes.

Again, the reason why JimJam isnt popular is because of the providers who dont want it.

JimJam left Romtelecom Dolce with other Chellomedia (now AMC Networks) channels, including MGM (now AMC). Even before that, Minimax was removed from Romtelecom Dolce in October 2012. Now the only channel from this group available on Telekom is TV Paprika.

Not to mention that the UK is a strong economy with tons of kids channels. Portugal could keep on dreaming.

Wait, Telekom doesnt have Minimax? That sure does suck.
Also DaVinci Learning now has 5 commercials after each show. What a money-laundering experience.

MUMBAI: The Indian arm of the Sony Network had it all – GEC, music, film, sports, you name it. What lacked was a brand for the children of the country. That gap was filled when it launched Sony Yay in April this year. It’s not as if Sony was devoid of kids content. It launched Animax in 2004, a pure anime destination, but branded it as ‘animation for everyone – not just for kids’. In two years time, it dropped kids and plugged into the youth audience of 15-24 year olds and in 2006, it introduced live action....

During its first years, Animax India was aimed at kids, it even had a kids block in Hindi where they even aired Kiteretsu. Though it seems that Animax had limited carriage upon shutting down because many parents cried fowl of the animes.

Animax should relaunch in Romania. There are tons of anime fans out here.

In Portugal it looks borderline impossible. Animax stood OK during its first two years but failed to get a decent impression.

I have heard of Animax and have seen their Pretty Rhythm dubs. They're pretty good for a show dubbed in Asia-they sound on par with stuff aired in the US!

Yeah but I dont remember Italy having Animax. If they did , they would also have had Minimax.
