If they did go together, it'd certainly make fans of the characters happy.

There are a few more episodes left in season 3 (available On-Demand or on CN's website or app), so I imagine they were saving those to close out the year so they could then premiere season 4 in 2018 :).

Yeah, I see the video I posted before has also updated its synopsis and now says new episodes will return on October 26th.

10/19: Hmm. If they intend to air webisodes all the way to December 28 -- that's 10. But those 6 were put up on the CN app and that's 65. Since season 2 had one less, maybe there's 1 more. Or they're going straight into season 4, since I think the gap between season 2 and 3 was just a 2 week wait.

10/21: Amazon ruined the reveal, but the next digital comic is titled Spaced Out and starts October 30. It features Jessica Cruz.
Fontana also revealed Mera will join SHH in 2018.

That will probably make things even more confusing between the webisodes and the separate TV series they'll get next year.

Maybe the Lauren Faust series will have different character designs and animation to differentiate or from both the Shea Fontana series and the Lego projects

So not only are we going to be getting Jessica Cruz and Mera's debut in DC Super Hero Girls, but a whole storyline featuring the Green Lantern Corps. and spotlighting Barda and Star Sapphire ?

    Sounds awesome :D.

Now let's get Zatanna in there ;).
Yeah, aside from the character and setting differences the plot summmary indicated, I imagine visually it will look quite different from the main version of DC Super Hero Girls.

I do think it's kind of funny that the main series will be able to beat them out of Jessica Cruz's debut (although the Faust series might still be her animated debut) :p.

10/22: There's the possibility Fontana's works will have all ended by the middle of 2018 and Faust's TV series starts in the Fall.

10/29: The release date of Spaced Out #1 digital comic has been pushed back to November 6.

    10/30: ^^^Fontana heard mid-November.

10/31: And Amazon has removed the page for Spaced Out #1. Regardless, Fontana teased in an upcoming issue, Beast Boy will turn into a tardigrade to survive in space.

11/2: Upcoming figures provide possible first looks for Jumpa, Ace, and Honey for the webisodes.

Now I'm expecting season 4 to be "Dawn of the Super-Pets" :p.

Babs with Ace should be interesting (I think that's the most adorable Ace has ever looked) :anime:.

I think Bumblebee's dog is the only original pet in the bunch. I wonder if we'll see Harley with her hyena's or Ivy and Katana with their own animals :)?

I enjoyed seeing Katana get a major spotlight in her novel and I'm glad to see Bumblebee getting the same opportunity ;).

I guess that just leaves Ivy and then they'll be done with the main girls...
I don't know what I love more, that Fontana is using such a minor character like Sackett here or that Lois's reaction is so in-character :D.

Looks like they're giving Jessica the traditional GL domino mask instead of the eye patch she usually sports...though her costume still has the green lines of her comic costume :).

I was in the middle of watching the Lego Galactic Wonder special on Boomerang, and I saw a commercial saying that the Lego Brain Drain movie will air at 8pm tonight on Boomerang. I believe it was mentioned somewhere that it would premiere on Cartoon Network at 8am on November 19.
