Yeah I mistook Crazy Quilt for Extraño. That suit and tie just seemed like something he'd wear, plus he was standing next to 3 other Latinos (Blue Beetle, Vibe, Bunker) so I just assumed it was him lol

Just wanted to bump this thread up again. Reminder that season 4 starts at 11:00 am eastern time. Until then, here's a 20 second sneak peek.

Yeah, the credits are a nice surprise. I'm not familiar with Jessica Cruz' voice actress, Cristina Milizia, but she sounds pretty good and I imagine we'll hear much more from her in the future.

I haven't followed the "Spaced Out" comic but it seems to work nicely as a tie-in for this season.

Grundy was used pretty well, I liked how the fight in the Capes & Cowls Cafe played out.

I remember seeing Cristina in Bunsen Is A Beast (where she voices Darcy, and also has Tara Strong and Phil LaMarr), Doc McStuffins (where she voices Lala, and also has Shea Fontana, Josh Keaton, Grey DeLisle, Tom Kenny, Cristina Pucelli, Nika Futterman, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Ashlyn Selich) , and Monster High (which has Stephanie Sheh and Nina Bargiel on it)

Now for the episode, definitely a fun way to start season 4.

This is probably the most lines and action Hal's had on the show since the first few episodes of season 1. Of course it would also be in the same episode where he leaves Earth entirely :p.

Not many would probably know this given how many times we see Grundy fight Batman in other media, but Solomon Grundy actually started out as a Green Lantern villain. It was nice to see that acknowledged here :).

The Guardians calling up the first 2814 Lantern into space and replacing him reminded me of how Green Lantern: The Animated Series kept justifying the other Earth Lanterns with the previous one getting upped to Honor Guard and necessitating a new Earth Lantern ;).

Jessica as Lois' video camera Jimmy Olsen was an interesting way of working her into the series, and they establish quickly that she's a lot less self-assured or afraid then your typical Green Lantern (especially compared to Hal) :ack:.

Look at Sinestro going to attack the Green Lantern-less Earth like he's old school Sinestro. And is that a recolored Interceptor he's piloting .

It's nice to have credit lists finally attached to the webisodes. I have no experience with Cristina Miliaza, but so far she sounds like she fits Jessica well and it feels fitting to have a newer VA voicing the newest Green Lantern :D.

I’m glad they have credits in the video. Now I can keep track of who animated what episode.
So it’s safe to expect cowardly Jessica to do one heroic brave deed to earn her GL ring?

Yes, going back to the golden-age GL Alan Scott, whose ring could not affect wood.

It's odd since he's the Headmaster of Korugar Academy and seemingly not a villain anymore. Yeah, seems so. The ship was featured first in the Intergalactic Games DTV and definitely looks like it.

Agreed, I'm glad I don't have to go to CN's website and rewatch the webisodes for the credits anymore. And apparently the director Cecilia Aranovich got married and co-directed this one with her husband Ian Hamilton?

DC Super Hero Girls "Ring Me Maybe: Part One"

Sinestro! Loved the new short. Surprisingly so. May they actually deliver a good season for once? ****1/2.

Not to mention a great way to get some more ad revenue to put back into the show.

I love how Sinestro arrives on Earth right after Hal leaves. It's like fate is conspiring to keep them apart or something :p.

Nice to see them acknowledging Intergalactic Games with Sinestro ticked Super Hero High beat them (if only because Korugar just up and ran when trouble turned up) ;).

Y'know, it's one thing to be a petty and unrelenting taskmaster, but it's another thing to just up and kidnap people .

Bad reception is never a good thing .

Definitely getting more of a showcase of Jessica's anxiety and fear, which makes her such an unlikely choice to be the new (Junior) Green Lantern of Earth. Of course, that also gives her room to grow into a proper Green Lantern :).

Matthew Mercer as a GL Ring? Seems like kind of a minor role for him, though maybe he'll get to play another character...

Kinda too bad this Sinestro isn't voiced by Peter Serafinowicz.
