    Though I've never seen M*A*S*H, I'll always remember his performances as Cogsworth, Jumba, and Mr. Maellard. Such a distinct voice, may he rest in peace.

    He was also Reverend Purdy on The Dead Zone.

    He was also the voice of Kamaji the boiler man in the English dub of Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi/Spirited Away. I think that was his only anime role, if I'm not mistaken.

    "Well there's the usual things-flowers, chocolates, promises you don't intend to keep."
    David Ogden Stiers completely improvised this line and the directors liked it so much they kept it! I like it too; it's one of my favorite lines. Thanks for that, Mr Stiers.
