Episode 24 "The Ties That Bind JoJo" Chapters adapted: 107-108 Last time Spoiler Wamuu unleashed his Final Mode attack, Gathering Gale. Even as the force of his inhaled air started peeling away his own body, the Pillar Man released a stream of wind capable of cutting stone towards JoJo. After a failed attempt at attacking him with a firebomb, JoJo struck at Wamuu with Caesar's flaming bandana, which Wamuu shredded with his wind. However, this was all part of JoJo's plan: the oil from the bomb and the burning embers of Caesar's bandana were inhaled by Wamuu, which caused him to explode from the inside. As Wamuu's wounds from the Ripple were fatal, JoJo gave him some of his blood to ease his passing as a sign of respect, similar to the respect Wamuu showed Caesar. When the other vampires suddenly attacked, Wamuu used the last of his strength to kill them, not wanting them to interfere until the end. Upon Wamuu's request, JoJo drank the antidote from his ring and disintegrated the Wedding Ring around his heart, allowing Wamuu to pass away with no regrets. It was then then time for Lisa Lisa's battle with Kars. At first, Lisa Lisa seemed to get the upper hand with her Ripple-infused scarf. However, Kars cheated by using a body double before he stabbed Lisa Lisa from behind - unlike Wammu, Kars has no respect for the honor of battle if it impedes his goals. After claiming the Red Stone of Aja for himself, Kars sent his vampire army after the weakened JoJo. However, he was rescued by Stroheim and his men, along with Speedwagon, Smokey and the Speedwagon Foundation Special Forces, who used ultraviolet lights to fight off the vampires whilst JoJo went to face Kars. As Kars uses Lisa Lisa to force JoJo into a vulnerable position, Smokey remarked on an incredible revelation: that Lisa Lisa is, in fact, JoJo's mother. This week With Lisa Lisa incapacitated, Joseph is the only one left between Kars and the Red Stone of Aja. As the final battle gets underway, Speedwagon recalls the tragic past of Joseph’s father George Joestar II and his wife Elizabeth. JOJO'S JUKEBOX As the complicated relationship between Lisa Lisa and the Joestar family is revealed, this week’s Jukebox selection is “Lost in Emotion” by Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam.
