Are Saturday Morning Cartoons copying other shows?

    I think that a lot of the Hanna Barbera cartoons that came out during the 1970s and 1980s such as Jabberjaw, Speed Buggy and Captain Caveman had copied the Scooby Doo formula about a group of kids solving mysteries while having a comedic team pet along the way. Even though I've seen these shows, I tend to disregard them bit because of this.

    What about the Saturday Morning cartoons that copied shows other than Scooby-Doo?

    Well there's only so many times you can be original XD

    But imo, I don't really think so, there are some egregious examples (Tom and Jerry, Oggy and the Cockroaches) but most cartoons have their defining features
