Who’s that lady joining the roster of WB Games’ Injustice 2 in January? It’s the Enchantress, one of the most powerful figures in the DC Universe, and we’ve got a trailer…what do we know about her?
The Enchantress is otherwise known as June Moone, a woman whose body is inhabited by an otherworldly presence that allows her to perform great feats of magic. Sometimes the presence is evil, sometimes it isn’t — it depends on how Enchantress is feeling and who’s writing her that month. She can’t be called an antihero because when she’s good, she genuinely is good. So the question of whether Enchantress is a superhero can be answered at best with “kinda.”
But you can make Enchantress do whatever you want once she’s playable in Injustice 2. Like…rip your opponent’s soul out and beat them with it, ha haa! Those who own the Ultimate Edition of the game, the Ultimate Pack or Fighter Pack 3 will have early access to Moone starting tomorrow, January 9. Everyone else can buy her as separate DLC one week from then, on January 16.
