CWL Pro League Stage 1 Starts January 23

by on January 22, 2018

Ready for the next big event of the Call of Duty World League season? What awaits us as the CWL Pro League begins a new year?

The CWL Pro League competition starts tomorrow with Stage 1. It’s a qualification-only, nine-week series featuring the top sixteen teams of CoD players from North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region as they face off for a chance at a $500,000 prize pool. The size of the prize purse overall this season is $4.2 million, the highest payout in CWL history.

The Pro League will take place at MLG Arena in Columbus, Ohio from January 23 until March 22. The top four teams from that competition will move up to the Pro League Stage 1 Playoffs, beginning the weekend of April 6. Those who place fifth and sixth won’t make it, but that’s what Stage 2 is for….the condition is that the teams will have to have at least two wins on their record to qualify for that stage.

It all begins tomorrow at 4 pm, featuring Division A teams OpTic Gaming, Team Kaliber and more. You can watch the CWL Pro League’s livestream at mlg.com/CallofDuty Tuesdays through Thursdays for the next two months.
