Story of the Death Busters

Millions of light years away from the universe that Sailor Moon and her friends lived in, there lay another dimension the Tau Ceti Nebula. It was a universe of complete darkness and evil inhabited only by malevolent creatures who lived only to conquer and destroy. Upon the discovery of the Earth dimension, the ruler of Tau Ceti Nebula, Pharaoh 90 wishing to expand his domain sought to cross over into it, eliminate all life from it and then swallow it up in the darkness of his dimension. In order to do so he would need someone to open up a portal from the other side and would have to obtain a certain object of power known as the Holy Grail to do it. So he sent his two greatest servants, Mistress 9 and Germatoid through a small portal to Earth to carry out this task for him.

They arrived in the lab of Souichi Tomoe a brilliant scientist in the field of genetics and mechanics. Their arrival caused a massive explosion which killed everyone in the laboratory except for Tomoe including his daughter Hotaru. In exchange for her being restored to life, her father, Professor Tomoe, allows her to be partially possessed by Mistress 9, and lets himself be completely possessed by Germatoid. Through Tomoe, Germatoid creates the Death Busters organization and the Infinity Academy to serve as a front for it. Through means never revealed he manage to recruit Kaolinite a sorceress and five young women each with extraordinary abilities who would become known as the Witches 5 to his cause. These events happened five years before the reawakening of the reincarnated Sailor Senshi.

For those five years, they worked in secret in their extra dimensional laboratory until the time finally came to put their plans in action. First, to locate the three talismans that would create the Holy Grail hidden inside the Pure Heart Crystals of three people and then to find the Heart Crystal powerful enough to fully awaken Mistress 9 who would open the gateway for Pharaoh 90 with the Grail. However they would soon face unexpected resistance to their plans in the forms of both the Inner and Outer Sailor Senshi.
