Oh, no, please stay. I want you here. I'd love to be your friend. Please reconsider what you are about to do. *smiles and shakes head* You didn't ruin anything. I know you didn't mean any harm, you only meant it as an innocent joke. I think that was very brave of you, it wasn't a bad sense of humour at all. After all, who else has the nerve to pretend to be someone they're not? Lol! ^_~ I forgive you... and I'd like it if you could stay here so I can get to know you better... ^_^

i would just like to make a formal apology to Charles E Wagner aka Waggy. I didn't not intend you any ill will or uncomfort. I am sorry I ruined your postings here and will never again log onto this page with my bad sense of humor and antics. I guess i spoiled everything for everyone. I will learn that in the future I should be more serious about my love for cartoons. I am sorry.

Sorry, but it seems the computer isn't working the way I would have expected with this board. After I submit my posting, I get that strange 'Page Currently Unavailable' page. And after I click back and hit the 'Submit Query' button again, I get the same message.
I seem unaware that my posting DOES arrive there, and because of the "Page Currently Unacceptable" motif there, I end up sending duplicates of what I had just posted. Do you think you could fix the problem so when I send in my postings, I don't get that 'Page Currently Unavailable' glitch message since you would receive my posting and I wouldn't need to click again after it was already sent?
Thank you for your cooperation.

Cartoon Network has now featured all the Looney Tunes from the ABC package, which may be the only package CN will ever air all the selected toons from.
See Toon Zone Guestbook for info about the last toon from the package to finally air. Unless you checked out the "What Aired" Board at the "Termite Terrace" Area of Toon Zone, and already noted the toon's broadcast.
By the way: Boomerang Sneak Peek this coming Saturday Morning- 1964, including a "Porky Pig Show". Starting at 6:00 AM Eastern Time.
So much for Saturday's "Angry Beavers" 'Power Hour' on Nick. I can't view the Nick Too airing due to my "Pokemon Johto Journeys" commitment.

First of all I'd like to say that there seems to be an imposter mocking me on the forum. While granted it is amusing, it is not me, obviously. I, unlike this person am serious about cartoons and would like to provide my contemporaries with valid information about the cartoon world. With that said I want to tell you all that Kids' WB! will have the definitive Toonami hour with "Cardcaptors" (The New Quest eps which will premiere in order but after their initial run wind up out of sequence, like almost all the other series that premiered on Kids' WB!, except for the other series that will make Kids' WB!'s Toonami block the best.........)and "Pokemon" (hopefully it will be 'Johto Journeys', although I bet Kids' WB! will mix the three different "Pokemon" series like they've been- and out of order. Par for.... You know what??? Chuck Jones is a flaming jerk head and Walt Disney is pure evil. I hate cartoons!!!!!!!!

First, I believe that one request is for Pepe and Speedy SITTING together on the floor. That webber has awful spelling problems!
Second, Kids' WB! will have the definitive Toonami hour with "Cardcaptors" (The New Quest eps which will premiere in order but after their initial run wind up out of sequence, like almost all the other series that premiered on Kids' WB!, except for the other series that will make Kids' WB!'s Toonami block the best.........)and "Pokemon" (hopefully it will be 'Johto Journeys', although I bet Kids' WB! will mix the three different "Pokemon" series like they've been- and out of order. Par for the course at Kids' WB!)
Since Cartoon Network is suspending Tenchi and the girls before they finish rerunning the third Tenchi series, there is nothing in CN's Toonami block in the afternoon- except "Outlaw Star", however I may tune to that during its Midnight Run. Of course, everyone has to suffer through a Gundam series, '8th MS Team', before "Outlaw Star" airs!!!
And that CN 'Cartoon Olio' block hasn't been worth squadoo since its debut!! It's been nothing but Scooby variations!!! Why don't they really get that 'Cartoon Olio' block modified and improved with some other great CN- or even Boomerang- series?? Some of us do not go for Scooby!!!
And we do not go for being cliffhung, so to speak, by an unfinished Tenchi package, either!!!!!!!!!

I mentioned this in the Toon Zone Guestbook, but I figured I should mention it in this Guestbook too, so Jon and Matthew can update their Looney Tunes TV listings if they check out this Guestbook at all as well:
Cartoon Network has revamped their Sunday Night schedule as follows (Please note these changes in your TV pages, Matt and Jon):
THE CHUCK JONES SHOW: NOW at 9:30 PM!
THE BOB CLAMPETT SHOW: NOW at 10:00 PM!
THE TEX AVERY SHOW: NOW at 10:30 PM!
"TOON HEADS" SUNDAY NIGHT HOUR: NOW at 11:00 PM!
This new schedule went into effect this past Sunday, July 8, and will probably remain this way for the rest of the summer.
And while Jon has the correct listing for the "Looney Tunes" and "Acme Hour" time periods, Matthew's schedule listings have been outdated for a while now. And while I'm thinking about it, perhaps Jon can update his Colorized Cartoons List, since there are some toons not on his current Computer-Colorized lineup that have aired. In fact, maybe he can modify the list to have just the Computer-Colorized cartoons along with a special designation for those toons airing in either redrawn, unfortunately edited, or the awful combination of the two, form on Cartoon Network in that Colorized collection.

Hi Charles! I find you everywhere! Of course, the only place you seem to go to anymore is at that forum... having a Togepi week is a great idea! I thought that would be cool too! Who wouldn't want a week of the cute little Togepi? ^_^ I wish Cartoon Network would show the new Dexter's Lab episodes soon... hmmm, they should have that for Card Captors too! They could have a Mei Lin week! I'd love to see that as well as a week for all of the other characters too! As for Toonami, I can't believe they moved Tenchi back to 5:30! They keep on switching the time back and forth and 5:30's a bad time for me! I can't wait until Slayers and Magical Project S come to Cartoon Network and I hope the show the Sailor Moon movies like they were supposed to awhile ago! If they did show the first SM movie I missed it when it was on! But I don't think they did, I didn't hear anything more from it after they didn't show it for copyright reasons... sigh... Cartoon Network's getting kind of screwed up... and it's taking forever for the Johnny Bravo toys to come out... I want Carl right now! I hope this all clears up soon... I don't like what they're doing to CN at all!

For once, the boys at AOL Time Warner have done something right to Cartoon Network!! No offense, but I have long since denounced any fandom for that wabbit, and I am devoted to Porky Pig, plain and simple.
And WOW!! "Cardcaptors" moving to the Cartoon Network 'Toonami' block!! Unbe-LIEV-able!! Oh, by the way, "Tenchi" is currently at 6:00, but with those plans mentioned, he'll be returning to 5:30- probably after "Big O" has completed its daytime run, which is actually a few eps behind the 'Midnight Run' due to those 'Toonami Friday In-Flight Movies', which were moved to 4:00 as of last week. Or was that the final 'Toonami Friday In-Flight Movie' for the time being??
Anyway, all we need for AOL Time Warner to do to Cartoon Network is have them remove the other 163 Bugs toons while reinstating every last single Speedy toon at the same time!! For many fans, they prefer to see the return of Speedy than be stuck losing only 12 lousy wabbit toons!!!

Second, I'd love to see Kids' WB! do a week of Pokemon devoted to cute little Togepi. That young Pokemon has some clever segments, and his metronome- that he uses on his own whenever the cast is in serious danger- comes in pretty handy.
Come on, Kids' WB! Let's go for a Pokemon Togepi Week!! That would be terrific!!

Note that the Boomerang channel correctly airs the Hour-long "Cattanooga Cats" show (actually runs 45 minutes, with one Boomerang break)! Cartoon Network, on their Saturday Morning "Boomerang Sneak Peek Show", MUST revert back to their ORIGINAL HOUR-LONG AIRINGS of "Cattanooga Cats" when spotlighting 1969!!
I strive for the best, and only the TRUE, HOUR-LONG, 1969-70 Season shows will suffice!! No more of these half-hour cheapjack condensed versions that ire devotees of this little-celebrated Warner Bros./Hanna-Barbera (of which Hanna has passed on- see earlier post) animated comedy-music video-adventure package.
Let's hope CN gets their act together and give its fans the definitive "Cattanooga Cats" shows- like sister channel Boomerang does!! Boomerang airs the full hour-long "Cattanooga Cats" shows, CN must do the same- like they used to before there was a Boomerang channel!!

I have some videotaping destinies I would like to fulfill. I am hoping to tape the following, complete with Warner fanfares culled from the series on Kids WB! (which may nowadays have the "An AOL Time Warner Company" label at the bottom with the "Family Entertainment" belt around the famous WB shield familiar to the animated series) at the beginning and the other famed Warner fanfare at the end (possibly from Nickelodeon's airings of "Hanging With Mr. Cooper", which is the only Warner-syndicated show at this time with the new "AOL Time Warner" labeling at the bottom and a familiar "Warner Bros. Television" belt around the center of the shield):
ALL 17 "Cattanooga Cats" hours (with a Hanna-Barbera Cartoons label spliced from the end of one of the "Powerpuff Girls" eps airing on Cartoon Network at the time, followed by the WB fanfare and- hopefully- "AOL Time Warner" listing)
ALL 38 "Powerpuff Girls" shows TO DATE
EVERY Classic Porky Pig "Looney Tune" Computer-Colorized (OR Original Black-&-White)- AND UNCUT!!!- from Porky's Golden Decade (1935-1943)

Have you noticed lately that Kids' WB!'s mixing of classic "Pokemon" episodes ends up confusing viewers, especially "Pokemon" eps that are multi-part adventures?? Like this morning, Kids' WB! aired what was the final "Pokemon" ep in the 'Orange Island Adventures' subtitling, "The Rivalry Revival"- which set up the current "Johto Journeys" series. But I recall last Friday, viewers were left with the Orange League cliffhanger ep!! How could Kids' WB! confuse viewers by having one part of one ep one Friday and a conclusion to a DIFFERENT ep the next???
When will Kids' WB! get their act together and finally give viewers ALL the "Pokemon" eps- Classic Series, 'Orange Island Adventures', and "Johto Journeys"- IN EXACT ORDER ON THE WEEKDAYS, INCLUDING FRIDAYS????

First of all, another famous member in animation is gone. Bill Hanna (Yes, THAT part of the famed Hanna-Barbera team) passed away probably yesterday. Cartoon Network has been airing a 30-second memorial spot of lines and gag ideas from one of those Tom & Jerry cartoons, the sketching revealing the profile of Mr. Hanna. Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Warner Bros. will all miss the devoted senior partner of the greatest TV cartoon studio ever. But the characters- and the team name- will live on.
Bill is gone, but Joe is still around.

The "Bob Clampett Show" is probably the only compilation series on Cartoon Network that you get to see the original UNCUT Warner Bros. cartoons!! Still Friday Night 11:30 PM, Sunday NOW AT 5:00 PM!!
Well, at least it's a start in having the uncut versions in the daytime on CN. But not quite enough yet.
Also, I'm rooting for Cathy, E.G., and Tara in their battle to continue voicing the Powerpuffs! They deserve to continue with those voices. In E.G. Daily's case, it's better to be Buttercup than a certain jerk toddler on another network who tonight is threatening a golden oppotunity for fans of a certain yellow-bellied whipporwill and bicranial quadraped team with the possibility of having that popular group replaced with a bunch of lousy extreme kids who don't deserve to be on!!!
Of course, if you don't remember, while Tara Charendoff-Strong has voiced Bubbles throughout the Powerpuff series, Kath Soucie did the voice in the original Powerpuff pilot shorts that still air on what is now the "'Cartoon Cartoon' Show" Sunday Nights at 6:00! Maybe we should root for Kath to return to her Bubbles role like in the pilot shorts. It's a thought.

I have a dream of acquiring on videotape EVERY SINGLE "Cattanooga Cats" show (the definitive 1969-70 season hour-long version!!) and EVERY SINGLE "Powerpuff Girls" show!! So far, I'm on a roll with "Powerpuff Girls". Now if I can achieve ultimate nirvana and acquire all 17 "Cattanooga Cats" hours on video.

UPDATE: Since my last posting, Cartoon Network has changed its Weekday schedule. "Animaniacs" and "Tiny Toons" have been pulled from Weekdays, and that lousy cat-and-mouse duo have been thankfully downgraded to a half-hour show (though THAT downgrading isn't enough, in my opinion!). Regretfully, those terrible "Scooby Movies" hours are still airing at 12:00 Noon!! Why can't CN add "Cattanooga Cats" in their daytime schedule and drop those dumb "Scooby" shows??
Anyway, the new Weekday lineup places a large emphasis on their "Cartoon Cartoon" Original series, as well as giving viewers a second- or if they stayed up overnight last night, it would then be third- chance to view last night's prime-time "Looney Tunes" HALF-hour featuring some ABC-to-CN performances.
The NEW Weekday Lineup:
10:30 "Looney Tunes"
11:00 Johnny Bravo
11:30 Dexter's Laboratory
12:00 Scooby Movies (CN's worst hour of the Weekday schedule!!!)
1:00 Cow & Chicken
1:30 Courage the Cowardly Dog

First of all, Jon, Matthew, and Brian should band together and assist in all the different Toon Zone sections that need updating:
Colorized Cartoons: The article should refer to Cartoon Network instead of Nickelodeon nowadays, and "Alpine Antics" (1936) should be added to the "Computer-Colorized (Accepted for Airing)" List. Also, regretfully, a "CN" labeling must be listed for "Porky's Pooch", "Jeepers Creepers", "Daffy's Southern Exposure", "Wholly Smoke", "Porky's Bear Facts", and "Fish Tales" in the (ugh!) "Redrawn Colorized" (Disasters!!) list!
Looney Tunes Updates of Cartoon Network Acquisitions (for lack of a better title): Now that CN has launched their collection of cartoons recently acquired from the Broadcast Networks, you can update the special page into a categorical framework. The categories can be "Broadcast Network Exclusives Debuting on CN", "Nickelodeon-to-ABC-to-CN Performances", and "Cartoons from Nick's and ABC's libraries Yet To Air on CN"- split into each respective collections, with the ABC collection divided between ABC Exclusives and Nick-to-ABC transitions.

And I am kind of miffed that, as a devoted Porky Pig fan, some of the more interesting Porkys only air in late night on CN- WHILE I'M ASLEEP!! Why can't CN give ALL the best Porkys the opportunity to shine their brightest in the daytime- Computer-colorized and uncut? I'll tell you why they can't: NO ROOM IN THEIR SCHEDULES IN THE DAYTIME!! Notice: After the early morning "Acme Hour" (which I don't wake up for except the Saturday Morning version), the Weekday schedule has "Cow & Chicken" and "Dexter's Lab", along with an hour of Alvin, a lousy hour of those meddling kids and their boring dog (who have a new video adventure in stores and coming Thanksgiving weekend to Cartoon Network!), and an hour of stone-age/space-age dullness!! Not to mention the great hour of "Animaniacs" and "Tiny Toons". And don't get me started about the afternoon!! That lousy cat-and-mouse duo!! Heroes that aren't worth a plug nickel!! And the "Toonami" package that unfortunately is giving that "Absolution" vehicle a new engine after The Intruder blew up the old one!!
We may need to have our cable systems add Boomerang to their lineup. That way, I'm sure Boomerang: The Channel will give viewers better chances for the Looney Tunes than what CN gives those shorts.
That's why you only have those great "Looney Tunes" either in prime-time (one measly half-hour), or late-night (which is only one hour! And it's not ALL "Looney Tunes" in that hour either!!)!!
And CN is promoting "ALL the Looney Tunes-Only on One Network". Yet that's a double falsehood when you realize there's also CN's spinoff channel Boomerang, and those "Looney Tunes" are not receiving the decent amount of airplay for devoted viewers in the daytime!!
Someone should complain about that to CN!!

I am proud to say that on Saturday Night (September 16), the "'Dubba Dubba' Acme Hour" kicked off with the Computer-Colorized print of "Porky's Pastry Pirates"!! Cartoon Network FINALLY did something right for a change!!!
Now if they could restore EVERY SINGLE WARNER BROS. CARTOON THAT WAS DISRESPECTFULLY EDITED to their ORIGINAL UNCUT VERSIONS!!! Not to mention discarding the 6 remaining "Redrawn disasters" and replace them with the CORRECT Computer-Colorized Versions of the original black-and-white "Looney Tunes".
Cartoon Network- and Boomerang- make that happen!!

TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY, IT SHOULD HAPPEN!!
In two weeks, Cartoon Network will OFFICIALLY become the MAIN channel for the Warner Bros. "Looney Tunes" and "Merrie Melodies" cartoons!! Boomerang channel will also air them, and hopefully, the 80% of "Looney Tunes" that will be available for viewing by both channels should hopefully be 99% UNCUT!!!
We can only hope.

I've got a really wacky idea that just might work!!
Consider this: Since Warner Bros. owns the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, and thinking about Warners' awkward title sequences from the mid- and late- 1960s, how about putting the two parts into a digitally remastered whole.
Example A: The 1964 "Looney Tunes" label spliced onto a 1964-65 season Magilla Gorilla cartoon.
Example B: A 1966 "Merrie Melodies" card for a 1966-67 season Hillbilly Bears short.
Example C: The 1969 "Looney Tunes" card (with the theme variation from Cool Cat's "3 Ring Wing Ding", Merlin the Magic Mouse's "Fistic Mystic", or Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales' "See Ya Later Gladiator") packaged onto a Cattanooga Cats cartoon.
I told you it was a wacky idea that- well, would it work? I think it would!

Charles E. Wagner a/k/a "Megatoonathonic 2000"

Once Warner Bros. finally decides to rerelease all the cartoons with their original title cards, the way they first appeared in movie theaters before the "Blue Ribbon" era, will those cartoons be showing up on Cartoon Network and Boomerang? If the answer ends up a resounding "Yes", it will be history in the making!!
There would be no more "Blue Ribbon" labels!! No more "Dubbed Versions", per se!! Every cartoon would be EXACTLY the way WB intended the cartoons to be in the first place: Original title cards, Digital Remastering to perfection, AND COMPLETELY- CONTRACTUALLY TO BE BROADCAST THIS WAY!!- UNCUT!!!!
WB should place a stipulation on those new prints on Cartoon Network and Boomerang- when the task is finally completed on the full restoration- that those new restored prints can only air UNCUT and that ALL the characters MUST earn screen time for their animated shorts on those two channels!! Meaning that for screen time allotted Daffy Duck, there should be time allotted for Speedy Gonzales!! And if there's a gag like Daffy's "Pocahontas" sequence that completes a segment of the "Boobs in the Woods" short (that better NEVER be cut anymore!!), there should be the ending ghost gag in (what should be the COMPUTER-Colorized, NOT redrawn!!) "Jeepers Creepers"!!
You get the point. And hopefully, Cartoon Network and Boomerang will ALSO get it once WB completes the restoration of all the shorts in the library of legendary Looney Tunes.

Among the cartoons that must ALWAYS air UNCUT- AND I DO MEAN ALWAYS!!- include "The Lone Stranger and Porky", "Porky at the Crocadero"..........oh, what the heck, let's make it simple and say ALL THE WARNER BROS. CARTOONS ("Looney Tunes", "Merrie Melodies", MGM Theatrical Shorts, Hanna-Barbera Classics, Original Ruby-Spears Studio TV Shows, Depatie-Freleng Classics)!!!
Recall my policy from an earlier posting!! And let Warners, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and yes, even Nickelodeon, know about that policy!!!

Let's hope that Cartoon Network and Boomerang will finally replace missing scenes that were never to have been cut at all from their collection of classics (never mind the cartoons with that scwewy wabbit- he's not worth it in my book.) And let's also hope that CN and Boomerang will have both black-and-white prints, along with ONLY Computer-colorized counterparts, of the Looney Tunes' Golden Collection 1935-1943.

I would like everyone to think about a new policy that I devised when watching any of the classic theatrical releases on Cartoon Network and/or Boomerang, and maybe send this policy to those two channels so they know how we feel about what has been happening recently (Maybe even send it directly to Warner Bros. Classic Animation, as well)
If it's edited, time-compressed, redrawn when it's a colorized print, or a combination of those (in the case of "Porky's Pastry Pirates, the sepiatoned, time-expanded print)........IT'S TOTALLY UNWATCHABLE!!! PURE AND SIMPLE!!!!

In checking out your closing "Merrie Melodies" titles, I have deduced that the remastered "Leon Schlesinger-produced Merrie Melodies cartoons- including the few that became uncredited "Blue Ribbon" reissues with Leon's producer credit featured- uses a revised version of the 1937-38 season "Merrie Melodies" closing title, with the "Dubbed Version 1995 (or 1996) Turner Entertainment Company / Music 1995(or 1996) Warner Bros. / All characters, names, and logos are trademarks of Warner Bros." noted at the bottom.
Next: A change on the "Bob Clampett Show": This week's show (#10) featured "Porky And Daffy" instead of "The Lone Stranger And Porky". Apparently, the order has been switched after the lineup was announced.

I appreciate your downloading images of every Looney Tune opening and closing from the Classic Decade. I've been looking for those for a long time!
In trying to make the printouts, I had to modify the paper size and view direction to fit all the images on perfectly. Trial and error leading to somewhat achievement.
Now why not try for something REALLY exciting! How about coming up with images of the Computer-Colorized counterparts of those classic black-&-white Looney Tune titles? All the different computer-colorized variations that were developed- now THAT would be a masterpiece collection!!!
Computer-Colorized prints air on Cartoon Network, if you need any assistance finding them.

This might be the only place I can update things, since these library computers erase the messages I send on Matthew Hunter's message board when they reset. And I usually have long messages!
So, for everyone: Cartoon Network's done it again, this time they're presenting vignettes spoofing that tropical series "Survivor". The only problem: whoever is trying to do Zandor's voice is making that Herculoid sound like he's got laryngitis. The ones imitating Betty and Wonder Woman- not to mention Daphne and Top Cat- are on the mark!
Also: More Computer-Colorized performances on Cartoon Network.
Saturday (August 5): "Super Chunk"- started with "Porky's Duck Hunt" (Computer-Colorized print has correct soundtrack speed AND correct Looney Tune opening theme [1936-37 Season])
"Acme Hour" (rebroadcast this coming Saturday at 6:00 AM): "Porky's Pet" and "It's An Ill Wind"
"Mil-Looney-Um" Hour this morning (August 10): Cartoon Network premiered the Computer-Colorized version of "Porky's Double Trouble"!
Of course, come fall, only Cartoon Network- and in a lesser state, Boomerang- will have the legendary Looney Tunes. And yes, it is very repulsive that though Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. will own all the Looney Tunes, they will NOT ALL AIR on Cartoon Network or Boomerang!! But then again, there's going to be about 777 Looney Tunes available for airing, and that's a lot. But how many will air UNCUT??? That's going to be the BIG question when all the remaining WB toons arrive on Cartoon Network and Boomerang in the fall.

i am a SERIOUS Bugs fan! Since the powers that be over at CN seem to feel that kids are burned out on the timeless antics of Bugs;and, since my beloved cable company refuses to put Boomerang on my system(choosing instead to show fundamentalist religious zealots and cheap infomercials instead...I won't even mention the channels), I'm basically back to watching all of my Bugs videos that are in my collection. Even though they are mostly over 50 years old, these classics are timeless, and downright hilarious. To this day, I still laugh hysterically at Rabbit Fire, Baseball Bugs, Operation Rabbit, often with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. The religious and moral zealots/"watchdogs" can complain all they want about the supposed "violence" that these toons have, but I doubt that most people were negatively affected.Slapstick comedy, as practiced by Bugs, et al , will never go away. Neither will classic animation. Pokemon, Digimon, and the rest will fade away, a victim of cheap animation and profit-hungry suits/taste-makers, but Bugs is the one!

Cartoon Network should have two prints of each classic black-and-white "Looney Tune" from the Golden Period- circa 1936-1943. One print the original black-and-white version, the other the RECENT COMPUTER-Colorized (NOT REDRAWN!!!) prints. Cartoon Network must discontinue those redrawn disaster airings and acquire the ONLY ACCEPTABLE COMPUTER-Colorized prints of those cartoons irresponsibly airing in their redrawn (and PERMANENTLY WITHDRAWN!!!) versions.
Let Cartoon Network know that they are cheating devoted Porky Pig Classic aficianados and that the redrawn prints are officially WITHDRAWN FROM ANY CIRCULATION because of the New and Improved, and Acceptable, COMPUTER-Colorized prints- which are the ONLY prints (other than the original black-and-white versions) that can air. NO MORE REDRAWN WITHDRAWN PRINTS! NO MORE PUBLIC DOMAIN SEPIATONE AIRINGS!! ALL CLASSIC "Looney Tunes" originally released in black-and-white are to air either in black-and-white or the Computer-Colorized Versions. This goes for ALL "Looney Tunes" released between 1936 and 1943. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

How was your weekend?
Latest info on Cartoon Network surprises (I have to list everything in your Guestbook, because I do not have E-Mail or Websites to list info on the regular boards. Frustrating but true.):
Saturday Morning (June 17)- "Acme Hour" [Encore of previous Saturday Night Show]: "Porky's Pastry Pirates"-"Sepiatone"/"Time Expanded"/"Public Domain"
Saturday Night- "Acme Hour": Started with a REDRAWN colorized print of "Porky's Pooch"
Sunday (June 18)- "Daffy Duck's Feather's Day": Cartoon Network Debut Airings of "The Prize Pest", "Rocket Squad", and the Computer-Colorized (Proper!) "The Daffy Doc"- including the "HUSH YO' MOUF!" sign missing from Nickelodeon prints.
"Bob Clampett Show": Friday Night Encore featured the specially-tailored for "Bob Clampett Show" print of "The Hep Cat"- with Computer-Colorized opening and closing video and "Merrie Melodie" theme music.
Sunday Night airing used early Turner release prints of "Baby Bottleneck" and "Buckaroo Bugs" (without opening sequences)- probably due to time constraints. Also featured Remastered print of "A Tale Of Two Kitties".
Speaking of "Baby Bottleneck": Early Turner print on "Bob Clampett Show" still has gag with storks, while Remastered print (shown on "Daffy Duck's Feather's Day") now has gag removed!!
Another change: The "Uncle Tom's Cabin" book gag from "Book Review" is now gone from the Remastered print (also from "Daffy Duck's Feather's Day")!!
"TH-TH-TH- That's all Folks!"....for now.

A Clarification on my idea: I am hoping that you could download the opening and closing title images from the classic "Looney Tunes" of the golden black-and-white era. Do you know that Cartoon Network has been giving its viewers a mixed bag of "colorized" Porky Pig cartoons? It's true!! Cartoon Network must realize that the ONLY accepted colorized Porkys are the recent "Computer-colorized" prints!! Warner Bros. had permanently withdrawn all the old, worthless, redrawn disasters a few years ago! How did Cartoon Network acquire those no-longer-acceptable prints??
A few examples of recent Cartoon Network additions: "Picador Porky","Porky's Road Race","Patient Porky", "Porky's Hero Agency","The Timid Toreador"-ALL CORRECT Computer-colorized Prints. "Wholly Smoke","Jeepers Creepers"- Redrawn Prints that shouldn't be existing anymore!! "Porky's Pastry Pirates"- First aired Saturday Night, and a strange print at that. Apparently, it must have been a 'public domain' 'sepiatone' print that-are you ready for this?- was time-expanded (slowed down from original speed) for the broadcast!! NOT THE CORREDCT PRINT WHATSOEVER!! How didi Cartoon Network end up with THAT disaster of a print??!! No opening or correct closing at all- with the end music from the "Looney Tunes" of the 1936-37 theatrical season!!
Someone must fax Cartoon Network the "Colorized Cartoon List" featuring the "Computer-Colorized" Cartoons in the package!! That way, Cartoon Network
can acquire all the classic "Looney Tunes" from the black-and-white era with the proper Computer-Colorized counterparts. We will not accept anything less than the genuine Computer-Colorized releases from the past decade!! Cartoon Network must IMMEDIATELY withdraw EVERY redrawn colorized and "sepiatoned" print and replace them with the CORRECT COMPUTER-Colorized prints of those particular cartoons thay have the wrong prints of, as previously mentioned.

Just wanted to say HI from your wacky KJV,
evolution-violates-the-Second-Law-of-Thermodynamics,
State of Kansas! Yes we know that we are unbearably
cool here as we take on the wannabe party line,
had to copy someone else's Thesis, runt of the
NEA Establishment, otherwise known as "Science
Advocates" who can't find thier butts with both
hands. Yes, the Media slagged us, but in the END,
we will have the Last Laugh! Anyway, we were all sad
to see Batman go geriatric, but at least it's an
attempt at reality. People die and then they are
Judged, no matter how much "good" they do, Life
goes on. The kid seems eager, and I'm glad to
see he still makes Stupid Batman Mistake #8

I didn't know there was a more official WBC. I started mine on exactly 2-19-97. Right now I'm only in 7th grade and my club ranges between 65-100 members. I don't know for sure because I have so many not in Seymour or in a lower grade than me. Hope I'm as successful as you!!!! Love Ya'- K.Lola

Looks like an interesting board, but may I offer a few hints: First, get rid of that red lettering! It's impossible to read on some browsers, espeicially with that dark graphic background. You're better off with a lighter color, such as pink, blue, yellow or the like.

Second, I have yet to figure out what is happening on this Web Page. Your membership info is interesting, but I was interested in what you had about the cartoons mentioned. FORCE your people to get photos taken, or do individual cartoons of their faces!

Aside from that, I'm hoping to find some original and interesting things on your site.

Yours, Thomas E. Reed - Contributor to Animation Nerd's Paradise and TOON Magazine

Hellooooo Nurse! The WBC and its home on Toon Zone are always getting better! Well done! Perhaps, in time, I will have my own webpage to contribute to the growing force known as "Toon Zone"

It's great to be a member of the WBC!
