"WALL-E" Comes to Home Video in 1-, 2-, and 3-Disc DVD and 2- and 3-Disc Blu-ray

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released information about the upcoming home video release of Disney/Pixar’s WALL-E. The film will be available in five different versions:

  • A single-disc DVD edition, containing the movie, the short films “Presto” and “BURN-E” (the latter of which is new for the DVD release), audio commentary by director Andrew Stanton, Deleted Scenes, and a featurette on animation sound design.
  • A 2-disc DVD edition (Canadian French Only), containing all of the above features plus bonus featurettes on the robots of WALL-E, 6 behind-the-scenes featurettes, Buy n Large short films, The Pixar Story documentary by Leslie Iwerks, and an early WALL-E development test.
  • A 3-disc DVD edition, containing all of the features of the 2-disc release, plus a “DisneyFile” digital copy of the movie.
  • A 2-disc Blu-ray edition, containing all the features of the 2-disc DVD edition, plus “Cine-Explore” commentary, picture-in-picture storyboard-to-film comparison for “BURN-E,” a pop-up trivia “Geek Track,” “The Axiom Arcade” suite of video games, world-wide trailers, an art gallery, 3-D set fly-throughs, and BD Live functionality.
  • A 3-disc Blu-ray edition, containing all the features of the 2-disc Blu-ray edition plus a “DisneyFile” digital copy of the movie.
