by on October 6, 2005

Avi Melman of Cybergraphix Animation and Kengo Kimura, CEO of Tokyo Kids, producers of Zoids: Fuzors, announced today that Kimura’s company would become a co-producer of Cybergraphix’s Guardians of Luna, opening up the possibility of a Japanese airing for the series. Luna, announced last year, was created by Melman and written by Michael Reaves (Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles) with character designs by Osamu Tsuruyama. It will feature a new take on the werewolf legend in a futuristic setting.

Additionally, Cybergraphix announced Paul Menichini (Lost, 24, Babylon 5, Invader Zim), a 7-time Golden Reel winner, as sound designer for the show.

Guardians of Luna is in production. Its airdate on American television is still unknown.
