"The Simpsons" Return on Venezuelan TV
In a follow-up article, The Associated Press reports that the Venezuelan TV network Televen has put The Simpsons back on the air. This time they put on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m..
The channel yanked The Simpsons earlier this month when The National Telecommunications Commission said showing it at 11 a.m. was viewed unsuitable for children. The network replaced it with reruns of Baywatch: Hawaii.
The agency said this week that Televen might be fined, taken off the air for three days or be forced to show programs chosen by the agency as punishment for keeping The Simpsons in the morning after earlier warnings.
