"The Emperor’s New School" Comes to Multiple Disney Platforms
Disney’s animated comedy series The Emperor’s New School will premiere across four platforms — Disney Channel, Disney Channel on Demand, Toon Disney, and the ABC Television Network’s ABC Kids — beginning Friday, January 20 and going through Monday, January 30.
Starring in the series are JP Manoux (Phil of the Future) as Kuzco; Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld) as Kronk; Eartha Kitt as Yzma; Jessica DiCicco (The Buzz on Maggie) as Malina; Wendie Malick (Just Shoot Me) as Chicha and Fred Tatasciore as Pacha; comedian Rip Taylor as Royal Records Keeper; and Curtis Armstrong (Moonlighting) as Mr. Moleguaco.
The Emperor’s New School premieres on Disney Channel on Demand, a subscription video-on-demand service currently available to Cablevision’s iO: Interactive Optimum digital cable customers, on Friday, January 20. The series will premiere on Disney Channel on Friday, January 27 in a special timeslot (7:30 p.m., ET/PT). Thereafter, its regular Disney Channel time period will be Fridays and Saturdays (5:00 p.m., ET/PT). On ABC Kids, the series will premiere in its regular timeslot on Saturday, January 28 (9:30 a.m., ET/8:30 a.m., PT). On Toon Disney, it will premiere in its regular timeslot, Monday, January 20 (3:00 p.m.).
