Actor Edward Laurence Albert passed away on Friday, September 22, at the age of 55 due to lung cancer. Albert was the voice actor for Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the mid-1990’s Spider-Man animated series, and also provided voices for the 1990’s Fantastic Four, Extreme Ghostbusters, and Invasion America.

The Screen Actors Guild stands ready to hand a 20% pay raise to voice actors when their animated TV shows are rebroadcast (free registration required). If the proposed deal is approved by the union’s board, the increase in residual payments will be retroactive to January 1 and be in effect through June 30, 2008.
