"Ponyo" Gets Berth at LA Film Festival

Hayao Miyazaki’s Ponyo will close the Los Angeles Film Festival, AWN reports. The film, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Little Mermaid” will screen on Sunday, June 28, at 6:30pm at the Mann Village Theater. Ponyo will go into general release on August 14. Walt Disney Pictures distributes.
