Superhero Hype is reporting that an insert in the upcoming home video release of Toy Story 3 states that Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles will be released on Blu-ray disc in Spring 2011. The packaging indicates that it will be a combo pack, including both the DVD and a digital copy of the movie.

John Lasseter will receive co-director credit on Cars 2, Jim Hill Media reports. It was widely rumored that Lasseter was exercising a strong hand on the sequel, but Hill says Disney executives have officially confirmed that Lasseter will take a credit on the final film. (h/t: News In Film)
MakingOf.com has posted an interview with Toy Story 3 supervising animators, Bobby Podesta and Mike Venturini, and story supervisor Jason Katz. In the interview, they discuss revisiting characters, introducing new ones, the differences between animating toys and humans and working with a contingent of animators who had grown up on the Toy Story franchise.
