CBS Corp. will sell its Paramount Parks division to Cedar Fair, L.P. for $1.24 billion, the companies announced today. Paramount operates several Nickelodeon-themed rides at its parks. Nickelodeon UK has picked up the animated series King from Canadian studio Decode Entertainment, C21Media reports. The show targets six- to twelve-year-olds and focuses on 12-year-old Russel, who is crowned king of a fantasy world of monsters he discovers.
