Paramount will release two new Nickelodeon compilation DVDs in May, DVDToons reports. Fear of a Krabby Patty, coming on May 10, will feature SpongeBob SquarePants episodes from season four; The Best of Nick, coming on May 24, will collect seven episodes from various Nickelodeon shows.

SpongeBob Welcomed to United Church of Christ

The United Church of Christ recently published an article and a photo diary accepting SpongeBob SquarePants into their fold, stating that “Jesus’ message of extravagant welcome extends to all.” Two television networks recently rejected a 30-second ad for the UCC which delivered a similar message, claiming the ad was “too controversial.”

Nicktoons Picks Up Worldwide Rights to "Kappa Mikey"

Nicktoons has picked up the worldwide broadcast rights to Kappa Mikey, a fish-out-of-water animated action comedy about an American actor who becomes a top star in Japan, the network announced at NATPE today.
