"Catscratch" Wins Award at China Cartoon Festival

Nickelodeon’s Catscratch was named Best Foreign Animation Series at the Second Annual China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, Animation Magazine reports. A panel of judges from various east Asian associations made the award.

Pogo Prepping In-House Cartoon Projects

India’s Pogo channel is planning to commission and produce animated series and films in-house, Indiantelevision reports. The Turner-owned kid network also says it will launch It’s Alive!, a new half-hour comedy show, on May 21, and Galli Galli Sim Sim, an Indian version of Sesame Street, in mid-August.

"Witchblade" Goes GONZO in Japan
