On Sunday, September 23, 2007, Funimation Productions will debut the first 3 episodes of the third season of anime series One Piece (the Skypiea arc) at Anime Weekend Atlanta. Previously dubbed by 4Kids entertainment, this version of the show will feature voice talent including Colleen Clinkenbeard and voice direction from Mike McFarland.
IGN.com has made the first episode of Witchblade available for viewing on-line for free. The series from Studio GONZO will be coming to DVD on September 25, 2007 courtesy of Funimation Entertainment.

Navarre, the parent company for Funimation, released their first quarter 2008 earnings statement. It’s called 2008 due to when they start their fiscal year timer. Funimation has shut down it’s online anime community, Animeonline.com, and cut about 10% of it’s staff.
