Steve Viksten, “Hey Arnold” Writer and Actor, 1960 – 2014

Variety reports that Steve Viksten passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014, at the age of 54. Viksten was a key crew member of Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold!, providing the vaguely Eastern European accent as the voice of Oskar Kokoshka and serving as the writer for most of the series episodes with creator Craig Bartlett. His other writing credits include episodes of Rugrats, Recess, Duckman, and The Simpsons.
