Scrooge McDuck, Mom, and More Make Forbes Fictional 15 Richest List
Forbes has just released its annual Fictional 15 list, chronicling the top 15 richest fictional characters. Topping the list this year is Scrooge McDuck ($28.8 billion, minus the lucky dime), avian billionaire and star of a popular series of comic books and the Disney animated TV series DuckTales, although some in the fictional business community are complaining that his net worth was inflated due to pressure from political correctness lobbyists pushing a non-mammalian inclusiveness agenda.
Other animated characters included on this year’s list include Futurama‘s Mom ($15.7 billion), The Simpsons‘ C. Montgomery Burns ($8.4 billion), Family Guy‘s Carter Pewterschmidt ($7.2 billion), Batman‘s Bruce Wayne ($7.0 billion), Iron Man‘s Tony Stark ($6.0 billion), and Nintendo’s Princess Peach ($1.3 billion). Forbes has also compiled a list of the most valuable fictional companies, with the top 10 including the Acme Corporation at #2 ($348.7 billion in sales, with a companion feature article), followed by Futurama’s MomCorp at #4 ($291.8 billion in sales).
