by on May 25, 2007

Variety is reporting that Sander Schwartz is leaving his position as President of Warner Brothers’ Animation to develop animated projects for Warner Brotehrs for Internet and new media outlets. In his six-year tenure with WB Animation, Schwartz developed a number of shows, especially for the KidsWB! programming block, such as The Batman, Legion of Superheroes, and Shaggy & Scooby Get a Clue.

No replacement was named for Schwartz’s position, but a search is reportedly underway with a replacement to be named in a few months.
