Richard Kekahuna Joins Producers Guild; "Avenger" Series Gets Anime Legends Status

by on November 24, 2005

Bandai has announced that Richard Noboru Kekahuna has been accepted into the Producers Guild of America. In addition, the Avenger anime series has changed into Anime Legends status.

Osamu Maseba, marketing manager at Bandai Entertainment had this to say:

“We’re trying out the $34.98 for an entire series price point to see how well the anime fan community reacts to it. The Avenger Complete Collection set is an extremely limited first run that consists of a full-color embossed metal tin, 4 bonus mini cels, and the entire 13 episode Avenger series on 3 DVDs. When it’s sold out, that’s it. However, we do have an Avenger Anime Legends coming out in January that will consist of the entire series on 3 DVDs without the tin or cels, packaged in a plastic DVD case for those who prefer their anime that way and/or were not able to grab the tin while it was available.”
