"Revolutionary Girl Utena", "Sora No Woto" Coming to DVD in 2011

Right Stuf and Nozomi Entertainment will release Revolutionary Girl Utena and Sora No Woto to DVD in North America, the company announced Friday. Both titles are slated to hit shelves in 2011.

The companies also announced 2010 DVD dates for other series.

Sora No Woto will get a single DVD box set release containing its 12 episodes plus DVD-exclusive special episodes. It will come with Japanese audio and English-language subtitles. The series, from Mamoru Kanbe and Hiroyuki Yoshino, is about a female soldier and her company guarding a fortress and town from enemy attack.

Right Stuf will release the 39-episode Revolutionary Girl Utena on three DVD box sets featuring remastered video and English, Japanese, and English-language subtitled audio tracks.

Junjo Romantica 2-DVD Collection and Antique Bakery DVD Collection are also scheduled for release in 2011.

Right Stuf and Nozomi also announced and reiterated dates and details on 2010 releases. The fourth season of Maria Watches Over Us will arrive on July 6; El-Hazard: The Wanderers will get a September release with upgraded video and original openings and closings.

Super GALS! Complete DVD Collection, coming in October, will feature Japanese dialogue, English subtitles and on-screen translations. Episodes 1-26 will also come with English audio.

Dirty Pair will collect the first 13 episodes of the series, and come with Japanese audio, English subtitles and English on-screen translations. Gravitation Complete DVD Collection will come with both the 13-episode series and the Lyrics of Love OVA series, with remastered Dolby Digital 5.1 English audio, Dolby Digital 2.0 English and Japanese audio options, and English subtitles and on-screen translations. Both titles will be released in November.

Right Stuf also says it will lower the suggested retail price for Lost Universe DVD Collection to $39.99 in August.
