You started listening to Pokémon music through the Game Boy’s primitive sound processor, using it’s tiny speakers. And you liked it even then! Imagine how it would sound with a real symphony.
Okay, stop imagining and go to this, Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, which premieres August 15 at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. You’ll hear live performances of music from classics like Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, and newer games like Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
If you aren’t in the D.C. area, a second performance is planned at Philadelphia’s Mann Center for the Performing Arts on September 19th, and new dates will be added soon. Keep checking at this link to find out when.

BELLEVUE, WA—June 30, 2014—The Pokémon Company International and Princeton Entertainment announced today that the official Pokémon live orchestral concert series, Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, will premiere at the famed Warner Theater in Washington, DC on Friday, August 15, 2014. The 2014 Pokémon World Championships will also be held in the nation’s capital that weekend, August 16–17, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
The premiere performance in Washington, DC will be followed by a performance at Philadelphia’s Mann Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, September 19th.
