The premiere of original series “Phineas and Ferb” debuted as cable’s most-watched animated series premiere on record in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating). Moreover, the series now stands as Disney Channel’s second-most-watched animated series premiere ever in Girls 6-11 (1.3 million/10.5 rating) and Tween Girls (957,000/8.0 rating), behind only “The Replacements” (9/8/06). Among boy demos, the series also ranked as the net’s second-most-watched animated series premiere of all time in Total Viewers (4.0 million), Boys 6-11 (751,000/6.0 rating) and Tween Boys (608,000/4.9 rating), behind only “Lilo & Stitch: The Series” (10/12/03).

* “Phineas and Ferb” stood as Friday’s No. 1 TV series in all key kid demographics: Kids 6-11 (2.0 million/8.2 rating), Girls 6-11 (1.3 million/10.5 rating), Boys 6-11 (751,000/6.0 rating), Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating – tie) and Tween Girls (957,000/8.0 rating). In Total Viewers, (4.0 million), “Phineas and Ferb” was TV’s most-watched animated series telecast of the day.

* “Phineas and Ferb” easily took the top rank in its time period, making Disney Channel cable’s No. 1 network in Total Viewers (4.0 million), Kids 6-11 (2.0 million/8.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating). Disney Channel also scored the No. 1 spot in Girls 6-11 (1.3 million/10.5 rating), Boys 6-11 (751,000/6.0 rating), Tween Girls (957,000/8.0 rating) and Tween Boys (608,000/4.9 rating).

* “Phineas and Ferb” dominated Nick’s programming in the time period across all key measures, specifically by 270% in Kids 6-11 (2.0 million vs. 541,000) and by 212% in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million vs. 514,000).

* In Total Viewers, Disney Channel delivered 3 of Friday’s Top 5 most-watched cable telecasts: “The Incredibles” (No. 1; 5.7 million, 8:15 – 10:15 p.m.), “Phineas and Ferb” (No. 4; 4.0 million, 8:00 – 8:15 p.m.) and an all-new “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” (No. 5; 3.8 million, 7:30 – 8:00 p.m.)

* “Phineas and Ferb” delivered double-digit percentage gains over year-ago (2/2/07) time period levels, improving by 48% in Total Viewers (4.0 million vs. 2.7 million), by 54% in Kids 6-11 (2.0 million vs. 1.3 million) and by 45% in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million vs. 1.1 million). Among Boys 6-11, delivery more than doubled, jumping by a hefty 137% (751,000 vs. 319,000).
