New Hope, MN (April 4, 2008) – BCI Entertainment announces the DVD
release of HE-MAN® and the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE® Volume 2. This
follow-up to the best-selling Volume 1 continues the adventure with
the next 13 episodes of the Emmy®-Award winning 2002 revival of the
classic ’80s cartoon. The second of three planned volumes, HE-MAN®
and the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE® Volume 2 will debut on May 27, 2008
on a 3-disc set. In addition to 13 new-to-DVD episodes of the
series, the DVD set will include numerous special features, including

Launched as a line of action figures by Mattel in the 1980s, the
popularity of HE-MAN® and the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE® led to the
original syndicated HE-MAN® cartoon series. This 2002 revival
captured the themes and excitement of the original, while
incorporating a fresh spin that entertained early enthusiasts of HE-
MAN® and welcomed a new generation of fans. Produced for the Cartoon
Network, HE-MAN® and the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE® ran through 2004
and won a 2004 Daytime Emmy® for Outstanding Achievement in Sound

Volume 2 DVD include the original “Morals” segment for each episode
(never seen on the Cartoon Network), the never before seen Villains
Sketch Gallery, audio commentary on three episodes with director Gary
Hartle, story editor Dean Stefan and writer Steve Melching, moderated
