Pokémon TV iOS and Android App is Now Available

The Pokémon Company announced the availability of the Pokémon TV app, which allows fans to watch 50 fan favorite episodes. The app will be updated weekly from a library of more than 700 episodes that span fifteen seasons. The full-length movie, Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice will be available for free from February 15 through February 18. Additionally, the animated short Meloetta’s Moonlight Serenade will debut on the Pokémon TV app to celebrate the Meloetta character distribution event at GameStop retail stores, which begins on March 4, 2013.

Enjoy the Pokémon Animated TV Series, Special Features, and Movies with the Pokémon TV App, Available for Free on iOS and Android Devices                                                                                                                                             

BELLEVUE, WA—Feb. 12, 2013—The Pokémon Company International today launched the official Pokémon TV application, now available free on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch—and coming soon to Android devices.  The Pokémon TV app helps fans follow the many adventures of Ash, Pikachu, and their friends in more than 50 fan-favorite episodes from the animated television series that will be updated weekly from a library of more than 700 episodes spanning fifteen seasons. In addition, Pokémon fans can catch special features, trailers, and Pokémon movie events using the Pokémon TV app.

The latest full-length Pokémon movie, Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice, will be available to watch through the free Pokémon TV app from February 15 through February 18.  Also, on February 15, the animated short Meloetta’s Moonlight Serenade will debut on the Pokémon TV app to celebrate the Meloetta character distribution event at GameStop retail stores, which begins on March 4. This special showing will be the first time Meloetta’s Moonlight Serenade will be seen in English. Fans who watch can expect a sneak peek at the magic of Meloetta’s Pirouette Forme.

Standard data charges will apply when using the Pokémon TV app. The Pokémon TV app is available in countries outside of Asia and can be downloaded for now from the Apple App Store:

  • Apple App Store: Meloetta character distribution
  • The Pokémon TV app for Android devices will be available for download from the Pokémon TV app for iOS.
