Pixar’s “Brave” Wins Golden Globe For Best Animated Feature

At the award ceremony for the 70th Golden Globe Awards Sunday night, the award for Best Animated Feature Film was won by Pixar’s 2012 film Brave. The award was accepted on stage by Mark Andrews, who succeeded story creator Brenda Chapman as the film’s director in 2010. Brave‘s competition for the Golden Globe award was Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie (Walt Disney Pictures), Genndy Tartakovsky’s Hotel Transylvania (Sony Pictures Animation) Peter Ramsey’s Rise of the Guardians (DreamWorks Animation) and Rich Moore’s Wreck-It Ralph (Walt Disney Pictures).
