Paul Dini Talks "Detective Comics"

by on October 20, 2006

Newsarama.com has posted a summary of a conference call with writer Paul Dini and DC Universe Executive Editor Dan Didio, where Dini was given a chance to talk about his current run on Detective Comics. Dini noted that he was nearly given the assignment to write All-Star Batman and discussed his approaches to writing Batman before answering several questions from participants, including how writing for the comics differs from writing for Batman the Animated Series, upcoming guest stars in his run, and a possibility of a Batman graphic novel coming from his run on Detective Comics. He also stated that he is “in the middle” of a Zatanna/Black Canary graphic novel to be drawn by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti.
