Synopsis: The Time Angels have returned to save the transcontinental railroad.
Details: The Time Angels [Dash, Clock and Millie] have returned – only it is three different Angels this time around [Eliza Dushku, Jayma Mays and Santigold] – so they can save the transcontinental railroad. It is 1869 in San Diego [not Utah, because that would be soooo boring] and Trent is detailing how his great, great, great grandfather is about to save the transcontinental railroad. Seems as though President of the USA Ulysses S. Grant is supposed to hammer the final golden spike into the railroad to make the transcontinental-ness all official and everything – but it’s stolen by Ted Dent [Xander Berkeley – “Nikita”], stagecoach magnate – who fears the railroad will derail his stagecoach business.
Millie poses as the new prostitute in town and lures Ted Dent into confessing his theft of the golden spike but out of nowhere Jesse James intervenes and threatens to shoot JoJo the horse if he doesn’t give up the spike – though we are left to ponder why James would be in San Diego and overly concerned about the golden spike when he was busy robbing banks in Missouri at that point in history.
In the end, Trent’s great, great, great grandfather saves the intercontinental [the name changed in the last few minutes] railroad and all is well.
The Poop and Skinny: The Time Angels consist of Millie [“The Smart One”], Clock [“The Tough One”] and Dash [“The Cute One”].
In the next episode of Time Angels, the timely trio deal with Ben Franklin in 1774.
