Del Toro to Produce "Day of the Dead" CG-Animated Movie

Guillermo del Toro has signed on as producer of the CG-animated Day of the Dead, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie, which is being co-written and directed by El Tigre's Jorge R. Gutierrez, is described as a Romeo and Juliet story set against the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday.

Reel FX is producing.
