"Rio" Sequel In The Works

Recently Oscar-nominated composer Sergio Mendes has said that a Rio sequel "looks like it's going to happen" according to an article from EW.com.

The new film is thought to be focused on the upcoming 2014 World Cup which will take place in Brazil. The first movie raked in 465 million dollars globally and looks to be the start of a new franchise for Blue Sky.

A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox said that talks are currently being held, but as of now no deals have been made.
