RIP Bruno Bianchi (1955-2011)

Bruno Bianchi, a French animation director, passed away on December 2nd at the age of 56. Arguably his biggest claim to fame was co-creating the TV series Inspector Gadget with Andy Heyward and Jean Chalopin, of which he also provided character designs and directed. He also worked on MASK, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Heathcliff, and Gadget and the Gadgetinis, among others. In 2008, he founded Gingko, an animation studio.
