Michal Friedman, Voice Actor and Singer, R.I.P.

Anime News Network reports the passing of voice actor and singer Michal Friedman (a.k.a. Michal the Girl) on November 25, 2011, due to complications after giving birth to fraternal twins via Caesarean section. Friedman provided the voice for Annalise on Speed Racer: The Next Generation, Tune in Winx Club, Seisei in Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Esther in Mobile Suit Gundam UC. She also released two CDs and was a vocalist on several European dance music tracks.

A website has been set up on behalf of Friedman's husband and fellow voice actor Dan Green accepting donations to assist in the care of their newborn daughter and son.
